One-way Roads with Neighbor Connection

I've recently been working on a little resort town where I have made avenues out of one-way roads (has one tile wide median) in sunken terrain. I know this might sound like a stupid question, but is it possible to make one-way road neighbor connections (I've been having to transition to a regular avenue to make the neighbor connection and then bring it back out onto one-ways in the other city)?

its not possible!!!

but...

you can always create a neighbor connection with a regular road, bulldoze all but the 1 tile that is the actual connection(the one with the arrows on it), then connect your one-ways to these roads.
it works, ive done it before, and it looks just like the one-way is making the connection.

this trick can also be done with streets

However, I think that you need the NAM to do this - if you don't have it, you'll need a crossroads to change a regular road into a one way road.

i cant remember if i was able to do this before i installed NAM, so you might be right, but its certainly worth the minimal effort involved and give it a shot

That always bugged me when I tried to create a highway system like the ones here in Texas, with continuous one-way feeders and huge stack interchanges... I ended up using the straight onramps in the NAM. Of course now I am less into that kind of thing.
