Official BAT Request Thread

One thing that surprises me is that there are no cricket grounds yet on the STEX. It would be great to have some, either small park-type grounds similar to the various baseball and soccer fields already in the game or landmark BATs of stadiums such as Lord's or the MCG (which was actually an in-game landmark in SC3). I can envisage thre basic types:

* Village cricket green, no buildings other than a pavilion and a scoreboard, rural setting

 

* County ground, low stands and parking, suitable for a suburban or semi-rural setting

 

* Landmark stadium, either fantasy or based on real-life grounds such as those already mentioned

 

Anyone up for creating one of these?

Would like to request the Partheon in Athens, Greece and some famous buildings in San Diego for example the Hotel Del in Coronado and the El Cortez hotel in downtown SD.

I know that there have been a lot of Baltimoreon buildings requested, like the Legg Mason or The BAnk of America Building.  If you ahve never seen Spinnaker Bay, someone should make that.  It would be about 1000 $$$ sims in there.  Another building/set a lot of people would use is if somone made Harborplace and the the brick harbor walkways.  Harborview would also be great.  I suck at gmax, but I know that Harborplace and Harborview would be easy to make.  It would also recieve a lot of Dwonloads

I'm trying to make a Las Vegas themed city, but there aren't as many casinos around as I would have thought. If anyone takes up this project, thank you.

I want to put in a request for Conseco Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Pacers (NBA). The Fieldhouse is considered by many to be one of the nicest arenas in the league. Its a great building and would make a great addition to SC.

 

Alright, I tried posting the pictures (around 10+) twice, the first time I accidentally hit back though and the second time my comp. froze.. I only put one in this time though as a preview, if you PM me though I have plenty. So if someone wants to take this up, PM me and I have pictures from every single angle, Aerial, Side, front, back, at night...anything. I got every angle covered, just give me a PM.

Im starting my CJ in a couple of mounths and i really need a big favour from the BAT builders!!

I need the KING STREET STATION from SEATTLE!!!

I think its dificult 2 build because it has 2 height levels to acess the streets.

Ill put some pics here to ppl who dont know the building and the location to understand what i say! If you see its not possible, just build the main structure, i think its simple.

I want homes like these for a long time allready

they are build in a lot of places on the in Georga, Carolina's , Virginia and Washington DC.

If you compare them with other buildings it can't be that much work?

I want to thank all those Batters who have done a good job! But for complete reallity in my towns these homes are still missing! I've posted a request for those apartments buildings (sorry for the size) but if a choise has to be made, I want these the most

1x2 and 2x2 size, light residential, $$ and only grass around the house and a driveway and sometimes a pool or seats. I have tried to make something with BAT but it is not my thing. If someones wants to make houses like these for me but also for all the others it would be great.  

 If make these homes for me, I will promise you, you will never hear of me again!

I just love Soviet public art. Somehow it managed to be this amazing contradiction of bold inspiration and stark cold inhumanity.

Anyway, if any of you guys are feeling up to it, feel free to take a whack at em. With my skills I'd be more likely to build actual reproductions than put anything even remotely good together for SC4.

Hopefully that link works. It is a church in Washington, DC. If anyone is willing to undertake this project, please let me know, I can acquire better photos than the one on that site.

 

Other Russian churches would be welcome. Some of those in Alaska (and elsewhere) would look right at home in PEG's mountain theme. I wish I could design these myself, but have not learned how to do such a thing yet. I know it is a lot of work to create a new building, but hope someone is willing to assist. Thanks!

Has anyone made a copy of the building in the original Die Hard movie. It was called the Nakatomi Bulding in the film, but I think it is actually called Fox Plaza in Century City, LA.

I have not the first clue of how to make such buildings for SC4 but perhaps one of you guru's who do might fancy a new challenge....if it hasn't already been done! It would look so cool in SC4 (please make it RH compatible as well if anyone does it

Well, this isn't a BAT request, but a LOT request.



Because I am playing on a Mac, I am unable to use the LotEditor. So I hope that some of you might be able and willing to build some lots I need.

The idea is to have another type of lots that can be placed between to one-way roads in order to get a broader and more realistic avenue. I thought of using porkissimo's STREET TREES found here and the great EUROPEAN STREET ACCESSORIES here also by porkissimo.


Here is a sketch of the first lot I would like to be made:



The ground texture for this 1x1 lot should be the same as the high wealth sidewalk texture of the normal roads. I think morifari did a lot pack called 'simple empty lots' which contains one lot with this texture.
The brown circles indicate the location of the trees and the gray box is the symbol for a bench.

Another sketch:



Basically the same idea, only that there is just one tree.

And another one, this time 3x1:



Only the gray circle is new, it should be one of those round colums there people put notes and advertisments.


Well, I think you get the idea. Of course there could be other things, like some poeple, billboards, wasteboxes and so on...
And perhaps it would be good to have the same lots with different trees, it is only me who wants them to have porkissimo's.

I imagine to have some variarity of this avenue filler lots to prevent repetition. But 4 or 5 lots should do the job, I think.


What do you think? Of course it would be great to have these lots on the STEX.
