Could someone make a realistic horse track or perhaps a Churchill Downs Landmark complete with the Call to the Post as query sound?

width=640 border=0 bytes? twin_spires_-_from_infield.jpg??>

Some London stuff would be fantastic.

They would be fantastico. And theres plenty more I'd like to see. I really should just learn how to do it myself.14.gif

If someone could point me in the direction of the tools and tutorials needed to do em, I'll give em a bash.

EDIT- Well I'll just have to be patient :D

i was wondering if anybody could build more stage 5 and 6 polpable with jobs
any buildings will do but mostly buildings that would match the new york and chicago
espicaly chicago tile sets
also i need ladder trucks for the fire department that will actually work in the game
ladders do not need to work but the truck must go to the fire

I am wondering if anyone has attempted to model the Riverside Catherdral in NYC. It is right next door to where I live (122nd & Claremont) and know that it would make an awesome BAT. I found the Sleeping Beauty castle in the BAT, so someone out there must love gothic architecture.

here are some pictures of it. Sorry they are so small. They are from the church's website, and some other places. The building is 17 or 18 stories tall.

Hey  Tonkso, I'm from Allenstown, NH. Just south of Concord, NH. I wondered if you are from Portsmouth, NH? Just Curious. And wonder if there's anyone else from my state of NH?

Hello,

Could anyone make a ploppable set out of the 'odd new york rowhouses' lot?  Or at least tell me how to make a growable lot ploppable.
Also, if there are any other rowhouse lots available (next to the standard ones) please let me know.

Thnx in advance!

If you read the sig carefully, you'll see that he lives in the original Portsmouth, in the UK.

@Neil_Johnson - ploppable Residentials don't work properly. The same trick that lets you make ploppable Commercial/Industrial buildings doesn't work for Residential.

@Peyres - From Canary Wharf, several buildings have been made.
DuskTrooper made the main tower, but it wasn't release-quality.
EmergentFungus was working on the citigroup building. Morifari made the subway station.
Also see DuskTrooper's Darcko lot.

It's not necessary for me that the residential lots actually work, as I am making a 'plopping only' city, that won't be run.  I stopped using Simcity in the ordinary way.  Now I just try to build cities that look good and/or realistic.  So, in fact, I really am in desperate need of ploppable rowhouses, and more specific, the new york rowhouses.  That's because the standard rowhouses in the game aren't high enough for my current city...

THNX for your reaction.  But I already knew about the new york home set and the mod you refer to.  Problem is that I need a ploppable version of that New York rowhouse set.  Is there a way to get that done?  Sorry for my annoying questions... 35.gif

About making them plopable, I am not exactly sure but what I do know is you can use the Lot Editor and find the new york home prop and make a new lot and plop them down on that, I hope you understand what I am talkning about.

If someone could please make the United States Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C., it would make me really happy.  I would do it myself, but i'm really bad at making realistic buildings... futuristic stuff is more my style

Would any of our hugely talented British BATters like to try their hand at Leeds Town Hall? I think we have a serious shortage of Grand Victorian and Edwardian architecture here (I know there are fantastic models of Battersea Power Station and St Pancras station in-progress!). If anyone is interested, i'm prepared to help by taking some digital photographs of details and the back and sides of the building and the wonderful dome over the auditorium, which is never captured in these profile shots.

We have the renovated mills and factories, now we need the civic pride and grandeur for our [ex-] Victorian power house cities! 1.gif
