The question is: what have I care about, when I want to upload buildings on this site.

I have never built upm props and buildings myselve, but tried out the LotEditor. Is it legal to publish things here, using several objects disigned by someone else? I did not keep all ReadMeFiles and don't want to blame the people doing a great job here.

    Please help.

theres no actual copy right laws on the files themselves, as only copy right apply to the actually programs not the things created for the game and uploaded to free sites for free downloading....they fall into the catigory of shareware....but theres sort of rule of thumb about uploading other content...you don't do it without the permission of the original maker...sort of a sign of respect to their hard work

most times if you use others dependancies ...just post links or direct them to the files in the readme

always giving credit to the original maker if possible

as for uploading others files...if you changed them or modded them to be different...it's sort of grey area, depends how much you actually changed them...but if the files are unaltered...that be a no no, unless you have the original makers permission

In any case. common courtesy requires that you acknowlege the debt you have to the work of others.
