Missing forums pages?

I don't know if this had been asked before or not I tryed seaching for it but couldn't find.

Why at the General and Concepts forum only the first few pages are shown while there are 1000's of posts?

At the bottom of the page it is set to display topics for a certain timeframe...there is an option to remove the limit on the bottom of the page.
