How to get the bats to the game

I downloaded a lot of stuff from the ST EXchange but I don't know how to put them in the game so I can use them?

You extract the download using Winzip,WinRAR etc. into your MyDocuments/SimCity4/Plugins folder OR Program Files/Maxis/SimCity4/Plugins folder and they should appear in game. If this doesn't work, the building you are trying to download must be a growable which means you have to zone some Residential, Commercial or Industrial zones and get to the required stage to make it grow OR it could be a reward which means you have to meet some requirements before you can use it in your city. Some downloads have automatic installers in their zip file and if that's the case double click on it to open it follow the instructions. If the building you downloaded comes with a ReadMe always read it as it contains useful information on how to get the building into the game. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for the help, I think I've done everything well but I can't see where the bats are in the game... Where are they supposed to appear?

as Sim1234 mentioned: there are two types of bats; GROWABLE and PLOPABLE.

Growable bats are buildings that appear on its own, just wait till all conditions that make a particular bat grow are met, and the building will grow.

Plopable bats are mostly commercial bats, landmarks, parks and such. Chances are that they could be found in your landmark or park menu.
