Right, I appreciate I'm resurrecting a long dead thread, but since it's my thread, hopefully you won't get too mad 

I abandoned BATting for quite a while as RL took over, and I'm still rather busy, but I'd quite like to finish of some of my old projects, so the effort I put in then hasn't gone to waste.

Not all of these will get finished still (hopefully a couple will), so I'd like some comments on which you think we be most useful in the game, and which look best in their current state. It's quite a few pictures, please bear with them!

1. One I've had sitting around for a while. In my opinion it just needs some texture work, particularly on the roof, and then decent Lotting.

2. One I was on the verge of releasing a couple of years ago. I'm quite happy with it as a whole, any thoughts?

3. This started off as one thing, headed towards another, and now looks like this. Needs a lot of work that I can see, but I haven't seen many stadiums for SC4 which are of this intermediate size.

4. This was actually a personal project, but I quite like the current status. Needs a bit of work, but is a compact-ish small athletics stadium.

5. Hockey! I'm looking to render and release this soon. An artificial pitch- no more, no less.

6. GLR station, which was finished, but I had trouble transit enabling it, and eventually gave up. Anyone care to help out?

7. Another small stadium. I quite like the stand design, although it still needs some work (seats!), and then Lotting, which could take a bit.

8. If I dare say so, I love how this BAT came out. However, once I had the main canopy and supports done, I was (and still am) stumped as to what to put around it. Anyone want to do a Lotting job on it?

9. Finally a throwaway project on roofing/my local area. It;s a clock tower, which I may try to complete and Lot at some point.

So... these are what I have. Any strike people as definitely worth finishing/deleting? All comments are welcomed and will be appreciated!

It's nice to see you return to BATing!  Your stadiums are indespensible in my large conurbations and small to mid sized towns!  Don't worry about resurrecting your thread... It's perfectly acceptable for the original creator to start adding stuff again!  It's only a problem when it's someone else doing the resurrecting with posts like "Where did you go" after 2 years of silence

1. I love it!  It reminds me of  a couple of rugby league stadiums near where I grew up.  The odd angled stand is a great, realistic touch and it makes the BAT!

2.  Another good, understated, every-town running track!  I'm not sure about the green on the floodlights.  I would desaturate it a bit. 

 3. YES!!!  A proper football stadium! I hope you finish this one in particular.  Stadiums like this are the bread and butter of the higher English Leagues... even though they're all getting demolished these days! 

4. Another no-brainer for me.  It's not spectacular in design, but it's great for variety! 

5. Hockey! We used to have pitches like this at my school, but that was back in the unenlightened days when they wouldn't let boys play hockey.  They made me get my face smashed in on the rugby field instead.  I'd have preferred to play hockey with the girls   This would be perfect for plopping near schools and as part of municipal sports complexes! 

6.  Nice station.  It would look good as a regular train station too.  I don't know how to transit enable, so I can't help you there. 

7. Even if you don't make the rest of the stadium, 'free floating' stands like this are always in demand for lotters wanting to depict niche sports events.  It would look good as part of a cricket oval for instance! 

 8. This one looks a bit different!  It reminds me of one that DMScopio released a few months ago.  I'd say finish it!  I can't really see the detail because of the re-scaling, but it looks like you haven't started texturing yet.  I look forward to seeing it progress!  What type of arena is it?  It looks big enough for tennis, basketball, ice hockey etc, but not for full field sports, so I guess it's a general purpose arena? EDIT: I jest went back to the previous page, and I see that it's a velodrome

9. It's not a sports arena, but it looks like a nice feature for small villages

In summary, I like them all!  I never like to see BATs get abandoned, as there's usually merit in all of them, so If you can I'd like to see them all finished! My favourite, just because of its design, has to be number 3.  Bramall Lane is on my list of things to do, so until then your stadium would fill the gaps for that type of stadium in SC4!
