Long live Sci Fi Friday again!!10.gif   (all 10 weeks probably again that is.21.gif)   I can't remember a show in a such long time that has been able to continually keep its endings with either neat ironic scary twists or nail-biting cliff-hangers!44.gif

    Very very good episode.

Thier attack plan seems flawed. but will probably work.

Im thinking the pegasus XO will not carry out his orders after the attack is done, hes probably  tired of the nutbar Kane.

I agree, he did not seem too happy about being involved in the massacre of the families from the civilian ships and abandoning the rest to their fates.  I'm really surprised that Adama is trying to eliminate Kane...that seems so out of character, but I guess he feels he has no other choice.

The war weary XO of the Pegasus not going through with it would seem the likely candidate to be out in the situation, but we've been surprised before however.

I realy dont see another way for Adama  survive the plot unless he  some how counters the marines,if thiers one charactor they wont kill off its Adama.
Wonder though if baltar will kill the cylon. it may be another test for him by  his imaginary cylon.
Ill predict now though that apollo rescues Hilo and the chief.( and mabey balter and the  cylon too).

I meant to reply to this last night, but my computer kept crashing...

Anyways, that was a really great episode. Their attack plan seemed kinda odd (For some reason, it feels like their plan won't work). I don't think either assassination is going to work... I think something unexpected will happen.

    Well The attack plan worked.

Kane died but not how any of us expected at all. ( what a twist)38.gif

Baltar lost his wench ( both of them i think) Imaginary Cylon was not at all happy about his failing to stop the attack on the resurection ship. and seem to have just faded away, but withthe revalation about the  Kid next week ill bet she will be back in his haed again.

So i was wrong about the Pres. But they now have 2 battlestars and Adama firmly in control of the whole fleet. Apollo Suicidal?

Wonder if they will build  a new stealth ship. 42.gif

Yea, Kane's assassin came out of nowhere.  I think its pretty tough to accurately predict anything that's going to happen in this show 19.gif
I'm glad to see Adama couldn't go through with it...I thought that was too much of the low road for him.

Do you think they might try and rescue the ships that Kane left behind?  I think the Pegasus will be destroyed somehow and that would be a good way for it to be worked into the plot line.

Hopefully they can build a whole wing of stealth ships.

That would be cool if they built a new ship. Anyways, that was a pretty good episode although nothing wierd happened... only you know who getting killed. I'm so glad she died. 33.gif18.gif Looks like things are going towards the better... until the president dies next week. 9.gif

Yeah, her recovery was a little too Hollywood for this show.  I guess we also still had to be reminded that Baltar is still a bad guy.  Fr the previous episode, that was the first time I found myself rooting for a Cylon.

Ha! Yeah, that is sort of odd that the cylon was like the good guy. I can't imagen what Baltar will do when he becomes president... He probably won't be president for long.

    Wow Nice episode.

    quote>
Probably b/c they were glad to see their so-called leader die.  The show does a good job of showing the various parts of the underbelly of humanity, even without the Cylons.

Looks like Roslyn is permanent.  The relationship between her and Baltar is interesting.  She distrusts him b/c he is corrupt not b/c he is he power hungry.  In fact that a big difference between this show and the original.  John Colicos's Baltar was motivated by power; he'd be very happy in a Saddam Hussein palace.  James Calis's Baltar is motivated by his flesh; he'd be very happy in Hugh Hefner's mansion.

BTW, anybody in this thread ever watch Smallville?9.gif

    That was a good episode.

They probably realized that killing Apollo would result in either their freighter being overrun by Colonial Marines or something else equally as bad.  I think I remember Apollo telling them that his Raptor had been tracked to their ship.  Most criminals prefer the status quo and usually don't do much to attract too much attention/problems to themselves...Apollo's arrangement was probably their only real option.

Pegasus' commanders are falling like flies...wonder who's going to be promoted now?

Who can tell when a season ends anymore? They seem to start new seires when ever. 28.gif

    Anyways back to the show.44.gif

It will be interesting to see how the political situation works itself out.41.gif

With the Cured Pres( still dont belive they saved her, but she is supposed to lead them to earth) haveing the backing of the  military( adama) there will be factions who oppose her if word gets out she was cured by cylon blood( they will  think it turned her cylon).38.gif

Plus  what about the kid? Is only the fetal blood a cure all? or will any cylon blood do? 42.gif

wonder if Pegasus's crew would object to  Tigh or someone being put in command by adama?

I'll start posting here! I'm a big Battlestar Fan (don't let my name fool you) I don't think Tigh will be put in charge of the Pegasus, I know he is a long time trusted friend of Adama but even Adama knows Tigh has to many troubles, his wife, Achohal, etc.. and it would be better for the plot to have another commander to go against Adama and eventually the Pegasus will be destroyed or will disappear anyway... Can't wait till friday! 44.gif

It was pretty good, but I think they might be running the 48 hours ago plot line into the ground.  It was touching how Starbuck was able to recite each of the dead pilots names when she made the toast...considering how earlier in the show she acted as if she couldn't remember their names or faces.

They killed Billy!  Those *bleep*s!  14.gif

In the beginning of the show, when Billy was being so assertive in the conversation with the President and Adama I thought they were setting up for him to possibly assume the Presidency in a later episode.  Boy was I wrong!

Plus, poor Starbuck...she's been having a heck of a time the last couple of episodes.

All in all, even with Billy's death it was a pretty exciting episode.

Next week: another new commander for Pegasus...wonder how many minutes he'll last 21.gif

Nah, I'm not happy with them killing off Billy.  Even though he was no wheres near as major a character as Adama or Roslin, his death struck me as more shocking and cheaper then their deaths might have; he was very likeable and three dimensional and his life had a lot more potential for the evolving of the overall story.  I would have been more content if Ellen Tigh had been killed.  And I'm not going to buy an Dee-Apollo-Starbuck triangle for one minute. 28.gif Dee & Billy had chemistry, Apollo & Starbuck had chemistry, but Dee & Apollo??47.gif

I could also see Adama faking out Sesha Abinell with the body of the already dead Boomer the instant he made the deal. 21.gif

I realy saw Billy as eventualy takeing over as president . Mrs Prez is realy now not going to put up with any more terroists. probably going to go full bore after the rest of them.
Poor Dee, Apollo is just not for her at all. He's got his hooker friend and Starbuck, so i dont see him hooking up with her at all. And with Billy dead she could be miserable when apollo rejects her.

Once again Battle Star Galactica had another great episode. I tell you what, why in the world did she walk out of that bathroom? 20.gif I wonder what would have happened if she... well, nevermind.18.gif

Anyway, I forgot to say something about the week before last week...
Atlantis was a joke! Atlantis is just ok... I mean I just can't connect with the characters on there... And I've noticed they are trying to add some humor, but it just isn't working. And the end to yesterday's (I mean Friday's nights) Atlantis was just an ackward moment.

Stargate SG-1 is awesome! I hope it last forever! There hasn't been one bad episode yet since it was first created in the mid-90s.
