Getting to page 100

I must be missing something here, but I've clicked on everything I can find in the header area and can't find the trick. I'm browsing the lot files and am at about page 100 of the 200+ pages of files. I can't find the way to get to a specific page without going through the window that advances at most 6 pages at a time. Every time I have to exit the site it takes forever just to get back to where I was. What's the trick?

The page no at the end...replace the 2 with a 1 and it would take you to page one...do this with any thread.

He means in the STEX I had the same problem. You have to remember what lot was on that page, then navigate to the page it was on an continue from there. There is no way to bookmark a page and return to it as it was. Start from the last page and work up, it's less confusing.

^^^this link will take you to page 3. Finding any page takes just a bit of url manipulation. The url is based not off of page number, but of an offset in the number of files. See where it says &show=12? That means that it will show 12 files per page (the default). You can change this to any number you like, but make it too big and the page will take forever to load. Now, see where it says &startrow=25? This is the number to change to go to a different page. Since there are 12 files per page, &startrow=1 is page 1, &startrow=13 is page 2, and, likewise, page 100 woud be &startrow=1201.

 

Simple, if you know what to look for.

Sorry I didn't realize this was on the STEX...Good info from duke too! This is something I have had problems with...
