Should I Update Before Installing Rush Hour?

Recently I bought SimCity 4 and Rush Hour (not Deluxe), I have just finished installing SimCity 4, should I do the updates now or wait until Rush Hour is installed?

install RH then do the patches....best thing to do is follow the instruction on the following thread

i say skip the transit option in the thread and get the NAM on the Homepage, but I'm sort of bias towards the NAM
