Sorry if this is in the wrong board. When water pollution started to build up, I got a message telling me that the water pumps have been shut down due to pollution. One of my advisors told me to put a couple of water pumps and a water purifying plant somewhere away from the pollution, so I did. But the water pumps and towers still aren't providing water! I even increased the water funding as high as it can go, and waited a few months with cheetah speed running. Any help?
    Thanks. 1.gif

Welcome to Simtropolis. Bulldoze the original water pumps and plop new ones in their place.  Make sure they're connected with water pipes.  Then use your charts to find the main point of water pollution and place your water purification plant as close to that point as possible.  Once again, connect it to your water system with pipes.  good luck. 10.gif

I tried all that, and the water pollution is the same shade of red all over the map, even away from the city.

Try this nifty unit; The Black Hole water tower

I installed it and I'll try it out later today. Hopefully it works.

a non-cheat way ...try placing the water pumps in the next city...pollution doesn't travel from city to city..keep this city clean and run a pipe connection to the city and buy the water from it..i do it all the time44.gif

there are cheat lots on the board that filter out all pollution
search the STEX under Ralphninja or Ralph he be the Modfather39.gif and Ralph's stuff radical...but it works29.gif
