Once I dowload a map off of this site and install it, it get started on my cities. But ALL of the maps on which I'v started my city's the RCI just fluctuates and really p*sses me off. Either Res. will be rock bottom or Comm. and the only Industrial that will develop is heavy dirt. When I play the maxis made maps I dont have this problem, but they all suck quite frankly.

So any ideas?

Thanx K. Koski Riverton,WY

well A: learn to post properly and not use such language...

B: it not the maps...it's the way you play them..as the maps have no adjustment to the RCI demand...only the way you play and the mods you use would cause this

Welcome to Simtropolis.  As 10.gifstated your RCI problem has nothing to do with the maps but your style of play.  Maps are simply neutral backdrops to your cities.  There are some good tutorials here about building cities.  Start with the Omnibus on the left.10.gif

When you start a region, build first a residential city and nearby an Industrial one. While playing and passing borders and building more and more, start developing commercial and for better playing give your sims schools, hospitals and everything that could make their life better.
By time to time your cities will be smoother and nicer with no problems at all...
But as Tolomar said, maybe the modds are causing all of your trouble.
Hope i helped,take care!

Your Sincerely, Sim_Air

think your lieing...theres no way the maps can alter yout RCI demand charts...just can't happen...you must be using mods or plops of some sort...only way it can happen...period

so buying a new game...won't fix the problem

I agree with Tolomar. Buying a new game-package is not the solution!
