When you say newspaper texture, do you mean making a fictional front page to post here in a CJ? If so, it is fairly easy, providing you know how to use photoshop. Just look at some real newspapers for a format. Choose a font you like for the paper and type in what you want with the text tool. Anything more than that would turn into a Photoshop tutorial, which is way to much to be posting here. There are many good books available at any bookstore that teach Photoshop techniques. Buying them is how I learned to use the program. 44.gif

I thought I had done this by suggesting buying a book on how to use Photoshop. There are numerous websites that offer Photoshop tutorials and free textures as well. Do you have Google? I did a google search and found this site among many.

An excellent point. I would not be announcing illegal downloads on any website. Not only because you could get busted, but because it irritates people that paid $900.00 to obtain the program legally.

Thanks for the link mudspreader 44.gif. It was really helpful for me.

And about the 'download' discussion, joeynymets probably meant that he 'installed' Photoshop. I don't know why but many people on the BBS of many websites mention the word 'download' for 'install' 1.gif.

You know, there is a trial version. He might have gotten that. Or he downloaded it an already had a serial number.

Anyway, I just use some rectangles and lines. 3.gif It's not extremely hard. A text box and spell check is nice, too. 2.gif

Make it BIG, too, so split it into a few different pics.

As 1dera3 said I downloaded the trail version but then i uninstalled and downloaded the Gimp, which is like photoshop but it is free.  All i am looking for in the number for the backround color for a newspaper.
