Why does the game, and the adviser, tell me my landfill is full, when it clearly is only half full? Bug?

    I'm using SC4 + Rush Hour + patch 638

    Thanks for any feedback

    Hello and wlcome to Simtropolis.

The problem may be that you have not let enough time pass. Adding landfill zones to your city will not make your landfill capacity increase instantly. You need to let a month or two of game time pass to see the effects. If you haven't waited, wait. If you have, I'm not sure what the problem is. I hope this helped you.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I allocated this landfill at the beginning of the game, some 5 playing years ago. I've been playing SC4 for a couple of years now, so I got the hang of the lag in the changes, but this problem only occured since I installed Rush Hour, so I'm pretty sure it's a bug. I was just wondering whether there was some patch I missed...

Hmmm... Not sure if you need a patch or not. I've been playing with deluxe from the start. Have you tried dezoning and rezoning the landfill? If that doesn't work its beyond my ability to help. Good luck.

My city was doing this crap too, landfill would be just fine and then all of a sudden it says its full, or it will claim no road connection even though its surrrounded.  After letting years pass by I decided to just move my landfill to a neighbor city and let them deal with the crap.  My graphs are way more screwy then yours too.  Sometimes my water pipes will only spread water 3 tiles away even though im at more then twice capacity.  I put toll booths in and ruined my highways causing a bad recession cause the sims wouldnt drive through them, a highway once carrying 1200 cars empty for DECADES while i wait for the freakin things to kick in.
