Rivervale - Multiplayer Region - Members Thread

As you know, I'm in! This is going to be yet another successful multi-player region. Hopefully we will not have any cheaters this turn, so everything will be smooth. Let's also emphasize on the participation of the player's behalf. Other than that, we should have a great run at this as other experience has shown us.

I have maps 16, 17 and 18 (Basically the entire southern tip).

I am also interested in playin on this multiplayer map. I seem to get my cities done quickly on Neptune Bay and this would be a great filler of the empty half week I have left. I also have no problem with switching the plug-ins between each multiplayer map I play.

I have 2 questions...

1) If we have to maps directly adjacent to each other, can we make connections freely?

 

2) Are we going to have a national assembly kinda thing where we can make national decisions... or whatever...

To answer your questions confused04:

1) Yes you may make your own connections, but do not go crazy with numerous amounts.

2) Yes and no. Yes we will have meetings on certain dates (to be posted here) in ST chat, but no it will not be all about national decisions. Just to gather everybody around to discuss changes, ask questions, and if you need to talk to your neighbors, make sure you do it there.

Unfortunately 18 is taken by Jessyka_who?....you can however suggest 32 and 31....please be reminded that there is a deadline and you must meet it to turn in your cities....also note there is no cheating allowed and this is not a place to just make a city....add something unique to it.

So, in 7 days, your city has to be at 50 years?

Screamomatic: Yes, preferably on 1/1/50. And at the end of turn two, 1/1/100 etc. etc. If you find this too time consuming, some tips would be to put your city on auto-pilot, or take two turns for every 50 years. We would prefer you get 50 years done every turn though, and I'm sure the other players would also enjoy that.

I notice that a couple of people have two or more cities picked out - does that mean they have to complete 50 years in each city every turn?

 Also, are there any plans to expand the region, perhaps to create another coast to the south and east?

Kryten: You can choose up to three cities, but you only play one at a time. You are not allowed to play any other cities during a turn, so all 50 years must be played on only one city. As far as the map goes, if that is possible, I suppose MallowTheCloud could extend the region when we need more land. But that is up to him of course.

Ok, I decided to get more involved at ST.  So count me in.  I would like city's 3, 10 and 11 if it is not taken yet. They will be named 10, Hatfield.  11, Doornpoort.  3, Wonderboom.

I am sure this will be fun.
