Trouble finding pathfinding mods

OK, firstly please stow your flamethrowers. I am neither inept nor a computer guru, merely somewhere between. Let me just say that this site and the STEX is an amazing resource...which is in my opinion a little hard to use. Apparently typing pathfinding into the STEX turns up nothing when looking for a pathfinding mod. It is sad that a site this great has such a poor search feature. When it doesn't time out, I usually get 0 or 1 responses when searching or a host of barely related threads. Maybe I'm just bad at using this particular search. At any rate.....

that there are three options regarding traffic mods

1. Pathfinding fix by Darkmatter

2. Transit Supermod V2.0 by Darkmatter

3. and of course the NAM

 

Which one of these will cause my moronic little sims to take the fastest route to work and not the most direct?

Also, does the NAM include the first two mods?

Get the NAM. It has the most comprehensive of the pathfinding mods with both the Better Pathfinding and the Perfect Pathfinding mods.

From what I have read, it seems that option 1 and 2 are mutually exclusive, but you are saying that the NAM includes both. If you are correct though, having the NAM installed and running is as good as its going to get, right?

Yeah, just get the NAM and you'll be good to go.

The NAM is where most of the latest transit releated downloads are put togther into one package. A lot of the other modds now are just older version's which are now in the NAM.
