I Got Spammed!

I hate spam. My gmail account thankfully places 99% of spam into a special 'Spam' folder for me, but then of course, I get all the chain letters and omgzor if youz dunt sent this to 107 ppls in 0.37 secs u will hav bad luk 4 teh rest of yur life!!!!!!!111 sent by so called-friends of mine.
I once received 70 in ONE day.

I get at least 10 a day. i only have 1 email address and had it for quite a while, Spam dont bother me that much since Norton places the majority of them in the spam folder.

It not a big deal to me. i just delete the folder everyday.

 

I realy hated popups and  dindnt mind those untill i got cable internet and could not close them faster then they could open anymore.  ( the only advantage of Dial up was that popups loaded slow enough to  close them before they loaded)

I have a total of 4 email adresses.

email 1: past week I got 174 emails, 97% spam. I have recieved 1392 emails since november 28th (not counting deleted).

email 2: no spam yet.

email 3: private email address. a few weeks ago, i started recieving up to 7 spam emails daily for no apparent reason.

email 4: yahoo. I made the mistake of joining some of the more popular yahoo groups, so even with daily digest, my inbox fills up fairly fast.

 

I guess I'm pretty unlucky.

Yeah, yahoo is terrible. I still have the account... hmm, my account reads 5,761 (Real number) unchecked e-mails (And I last deleted all the last spam 3 weeks ago). That's why I love MSN. It's great! Only 7 unchecked e-mails on there.

For no apparent reason, my gmail account is now recieving spam. One in particular, which I just looked at, made me laugh.

It read:

SAVE 85% VIAGR*, AMBIE*, VALIU* & ALL HOT MEDICATIONS, YOU PAY AND WE SHIP, NO QUESTIONS next Spam

Anyways, pretty sure it was a virus, since there was also an attachment, which I did not view or download to check.

Hehe.  I've gotten a lot of messages like that also.  You'd think that these guys would figure out that mailing from a hotmail account will tell everyone that they got spammed, but I guess that they can't figure that out.
