Game crashing when querying traffic

Had a few CTDs before discovering that it happened only when I queried a certain bus stop with the traffic query button (the rush hour one).

    Solution:
Yep, got that too. Problem was that the bus stop couldn't be deleted... as if there was an infinite supply of them at the spot. They'd explode but there'd be another one waiting ;O)

What worked for me is to zone the area and then de-zone it. Bus stop gone.

No idea what sequence of events caused this to happen in the first place.

Hope this helps anyone with the same problem. Was worried at first that one of the plugins caused this.

interesting. was this bus stop a plugin or the game one? Do you have any plugins that may be relevant?

    Standard bus stop.

Plugins are the NAM, some trees, embankments and a few buildings.

I suspect that the pedestrian mall tiles are responsible for some grief: Terrain work is blocked in a large area around them and that particular bus station was plopped right after bulldozing a ped.mall tile. Recently had a mall tile go under an existing commercial building, scrambling the zoning underneath (ie. causing the remaining comm.zones to be appropriately adjusted). The building remained.. just like the bus stop did...

    ominous ;O)
anyway.. not a game breaker...but making me think wether I really need the pedestrian mall tiles.

Well, the ped mall is in the NAM which is labelled beta. You have to be quite careful with it. I haven't had any problem with ped malls, but you have to follow the rules for them.

A ped mall must have a transport station in it. I do use bus stations and subway stations. I also run GLR through them.

Only C properties are allowed to touch it. Anything else is either forbidden or undefined.
