All mass-transit suddenly dies

Something happened where all the mass transit in each of my region's cities has completely died--this includes the bus stations, rail stations (passenger and freight), other transit enabled lots such as parking lots, etc. Pretty much everything stops working except pedestrian movement and cars.

When you click on any of the transit lots, the popup window indicates it's no working (i.e., the indicators at the top of the window are grayed-out as if no capacity is even available). Mass transit is 100% funded, so that's not what's causing it.

I've fixed this problem in one of my cities by bulldozing and replacing all mass trasit lots. This fix seems to work for everything except for the shops parking lots, which still don't work even after being replaced. Anyway, to go through and do this for all my cities would take forever and a day to complete.

Does anybody have any ideas on what could have caused this bug to occurr, and what to do fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like plugin trouble. What have you added lately?

If the worst comes to the worst, copy all your plugins to some other place on your hard disk, then start moving them back one at a time until the problem recurs.

I recently added the airport addon. I was hoping someone else had this specific problem, but I'll start backing out my plugins one at a time. Thanks

Start with the airport, and just move them to another folder. No need to scrap them.

Transportation is no longer disabled when I open a city after removing the dirty alleys addon.  I'm not 100% sure this addon was the cause of it, but the program seems to no longer create any new transit problems since its removal. 

However, the shops parking lot still doesn't function, even after bulldozing / replacing.  I might try reloading these parking lots in my plugins folder to see if that works.
