Game crashes when loading any tile

Pretty self-explanatory. The game will boot up fine but then whenever I load any plot, new or old or otherwise, the game will get stuck loading and then CTD

This has occurred on two devices now (Windows 10 desktop and Windows 11 laptop)

Occurs with or without mods. Currently I am using the laptop and have only installed NAM as per instructions. Occurs with or without launch parameters as well. I only have custom resolution (1920x1080), CPU count 1 and skip intro currently.

Any help?

Have you applied the 4GB patch? That is required to use the full version of NAM.

I am having the exact same issue.  I have been using NAM for several years and know all about the 4GB patch.  I use other mods as well.  I fully use Ulisse Wolf's Performance and Graphics list to configure my PC.  I have played SimCity 4 Deluxe modded with the sage advice of Simtropolis for years now.

A few weeks ago, after having dealt with general slow-down and bog of my PC's performance to my liking, I decided to format the drive, reload Windows 11 Pro and start installing programs again to get up and running.  SimCity 4 Deluxe was at the top of my list of course because it is my favorite game.

Sadly, my game would no-longer work and would do EXACTLY what Kristopher Vector's machine is doing.

The ONLY difference is now I am using Windows 11 25H2 as that is the version that now comes as default.  I have not been able to get my game to behave ever since.

My specs are:
CPU=AMD Ryzen 5950X

GPU= AMD Radeon 6950XT

RAM= 128GB.

I have more than two terabytes free space on my NVMe drive.

I am using the exact specifications outlines in how to run SimCity 4 Deluxe for an AMD card as opposed to Nvidia, etc.

Something has gone awry, and I'm not finding any information as to what that could be.  Believe me, I am looking.   I would appreciate any advice from those who might be aware of a workaround, or are aware what the issue is, and to let me know people are working on the problem.

This is very frustrating.  I'm not taking it out on anyone here; I'm just saying, this sort of thing is not fun to go through.
