My system crashed again but I was able to repair it rather quickly thanks to all the help that was given to me this past fall.  I am up and running again but I've lost my ability to start the program quickly.  I remenber an add on to the end of the launch directions, here is mine, "C:\Program Files\EA Games\SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition\Apps\SimCity 4.exe"   It was something like - quick load.  Does anyone know what I'm asking and the correct add on to the file above?  Sorry I am not using correct vernacular but I'm trying.

Are you perhaps talking about disabling the intro videos to speed up the process. The command for that is -intro:off.

Otherwise loading times are based on the speed of your system, amount of Plugins and whether or not you’ve datpacked them.

There is also a DLL Plugin that optimises startup times:

    I copied into the command to start SC4 like this, "C:\Program Files\EA Games\SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition\Apps\SimCity 4.exe" -intro:off

    It goes directly to the desktop and does not load.  Can you see what I am doing wrong?
