Game won't launch in fullscreen

I tried playing SimCity 4 with the launcher since it makes the game more stable, but the game refuses to launch in fullscreen mode. The game launches just fine in borderless or windowed mode. In fullscreen mode, the application opens and immediately closes.

Question. What is the resolution of your screen?

Make sure you have updated the video card drivers. Make sure SC4 is running in render mode. Also it is recommended to install dgvoodoo 2.

Also I made these two tturoial on how to coretly configure especially with modern gpu. (The tutorials are in Italian but the description and subtitles are also available in English. I hope that by the end of January I can release the tutorial in English language). Follow only the tutorial that is compatible with your version of SC4 (Steam, GOG, etc.).

I tried both of the tutorials  and the game still opens on the taskbar but immediately closes. I am using the sc4 launcher.
