Hi.

I'm an absolute newbie to creating props. I spent one week now to learn what to do. And I've got first results. Anyway I made some test props. However, whatever I try they will all have the same size.

I use blender 2.79 and Gimp 2.10.
In Blender I set unit lengths to metrics and created a simple block with 2 m x 3 m x 3 m and 3 m x 5 m x 3 m. I gave it textures and exported it as fbx using the scale=100, activate "selected Objects" and some other options I found out on internet from other modders and tutorials. However, when I import the fbx the size of the prop is always a super tiny cube. I've attached all files. Can somebody help me and tell me what I've done wrong?

I recently work on new parks inspired by my favourite park in Berlin "Gärten der Welt". I would really appriciate some help, to finally be able to release my first structures.

Thanks.

Christoph

First make sure to apply rotation and scale in Blender. That's done by pressing ctrl + A and then selecting "Rotation and scale" before exporting. Then when you import it, make sure it doesn't change the scale. The game likes to rescale your item depending on the template you're using. It's above the preview of your model in a little box. That should be 1 to get the correct size.

In your Blender scene remember to delete the light and camera. Lift the object so that it sits at ground level "z" = 0 for the base.

Thanks alot. After I applied "Rotation and scale"  I could also apply the scale in CSL editor. Before I could enter whatever I wanted and the size was always the same. However I needed to set the scale to 100 for the correct result. BTW: I use a lot of your decals for my parks. Thanks alot for this great work.

Oh, I forgot to save that in the rock02.blend file. Yes. I usually remove them. Thanks for the advise anyways.
