Catch the murderer

I was wondering if people around here would be interested in an online (forum-game) version of a game that kinda reminds you of Clue(edo)?

I don't have Clue(edo) myself, so I'm not 100% sure about the specific rules about that game, but the game I have (physical board game ) is a game where the basics are the same AFAIK.
For those who don't know it: Some person has been murdered, and the players has to find clues around the board about why, when, where, who and how this person was killed

The game I use is Titanic (I don't know if this is a game only known in Denmark), where you walk around on Titanic and now you have the last day before it sunk to find out everything about the murder.

The winner is the first player who gets all correct information about the murder.
If the time runs out all players has to pm me their guesses, and the one who guess most information correct wins the game


I'll gm this game, so I wont be playing myself...

I'll try to write a little more about the rules (I'll try to create the board soon... I hope it's going to be within a few days, but because of other complications I might not have time for it)

Each player has a paper with what they have found out. On this paper is written what the player knows about the murder and will be updated each time the player gets some new information

As mentioned in OP it's divided into 5 categories (time, suspect, reason for killing, weapon and place). Each category has it's own color (time = yellow*, etc)
For each category there's 6 possible choices* and 6 cards of each color on the ship (to be collected from different rooms). 5 of the cards says one of the choices is wrong, the last card is empty. If you have the 5 correct cards for one color you're sure what time the murder happened (or whatever categori it's about)


The game is played with a dice, but since I don't gain anything from cheating (since I'm the gm) I don't see no reason why I can't roll the dice myself and post the info here... though if someone can find a better way it would be nice...



*I don't have the board game with me at the moment, so I don't remember the colors for each category, and might remember wrong about the number of choices, but it's as close as I remember

I could buy a webcam and throw the dice when at least one player is online, though I'm not sure which timezone you're all from, so it might not be possible

Ok, I didn't manage to make a non-scanned version of the board game, so I scanned it instead: (the red, green and yellow 'things' are the different players... now is the time for you to pick the colors)




To avoid copyright issues I believe it would be best if someone could do a non-scanned version of it, since my skills are not good enough for that... or if nobody cares we could just go on and use the above one?

Whenever a player gets a card I tell them what the card says and the player then strikes from the card whatever I told them... one card of each color is blank so you (probably) wont get information each time you get a card

When a player gets a card the card is in his (or her) belongings (which I'll keep track on who has what card). Later I'll explain how one player can get a card from another player

At the beginning of each turn I'll pm the dice for each player . simcity_498 is first, horrorkid64 is second and Rymac91 is last. The first player then posts where he wants to go. As soon as this has happened the second player may post the destination and then the 3rd player may do so
Be aware that the stairs are 2 areas (so if you're standing just before the stairs your dice should hit at least 3 to get to the other d
