I did not download the snow mods but somehow I have snow growing on my hillsides, even at low altitudes.
Can someone tell me how to remove it, or what files to search for to remove, I do not have any of the zzz files.

It's funny to see all the topics about people getting snow. As for me, I'm working on seaside cities...so I haven't seen any snow. 9.gif

It needs to have certain altitude for it to work.

I'm only building rural and farm cities with no mountains and I haven't seen any snow.  I guess you have to have a certain altitude before it shows up.  Maybe next year I'll build some mountains just so I can see the snow.10.gif

@SamFlash: I think it is too late because this only works on Dec 25th, xxxx computer date, but if you want to see the effect, save your region then have a volcano disaster. You should get snow on the heights when things cool down.

There is a mod Maxis put in the game called The Easter Egg which makes snow appear on the 25th December (I don't know if it should be there today though). It should be back to normal within a few days.

Many software programs have Easter Eggs. They're little features added by programmers that are often designed to slip past normal system testing, so often the software company doesn't know they're in there. Some are designed to show up at certain times (like Maxis' snow at Christmas) and some require a combination of keys or functions. There used to be Easter Eggs in many Microsoft products, like Excel.

And how can I get rid of it? lol j/k, although I first was surprised, when I saw some snow stripes on my mountain plateau. It looks somewhat ugly, I think. Well, I'm glad when it disappears. The snow mods are much better.

We have something called a *search* bar, just type in what you're looking for and you'll get it.....easier than asking, no?2.gif
