First of all Merrry Christmas to all of you. I have Sim City 4 Deluxe and love it. I can't wait and hope that they make a Sim City 5 soon. Can you please tell me how to upload buildings that are posted on this website and I also am interested in uploading a map of San Diego county and building on that. Is any of this possible, if so Im sure someone has written a step by step process. Please let me know. Thanks and may your cities prosper in the upcoming year.

About the uploading to the STEX it's a very simple process, simply click upload in the STEX and follow the steps given.
And about the map rendering please check out this thread

I think what he/she meant was Download and not Upload...unless she meant Upload to his/her computer.

 

If you see something you like (I.e. a building) and I'm sure you will, click on the link on the main page or on a search page.  Under the description there will be a download link.  Download the file, unzip it and follow the instructions in the readme file that SHOULD be included.  Check out this thread here for a more detailed explanation https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=51424 .

 

Follow that tutorial from the get go, and you won't have problems with your plugin folders later.

 

As for the map information, it was already posted.
