Hi all, first post here, but have been borrowing ideas from various threads for my citys for a while now.

Running Rush Hour with all the latest Patches, and the additonal patches (like the Network Fix one) available here on STEX.

    System Specs
    Athlon 3200+ @ 2.68Ghz
    PCI-E 6800GT
    2x250GB Hitachi Deskstar SATAII
    2x512 TwinMOS SP
Page File set to Max (I forget exactly) but its been working fine

I havent installed anything in the Plugins folder that wasnt running fine before. But main ones are NAM and Roadtop Transit Station. (nothing from which has been used ye on this city, other than the traffic routing bit NAM does)

    Now to the problem,

Started a new City in a region I downloaded here. (macedon)
Built up the city (twice! damn crashes) to a Population of 44,000. Then wham, as I have come to expect, the game crashes to the desktop, luckily I saved only 10mins before.

Come back to it, and this is what I am confronted with (see Screenshots)

Apart from the massive graphical glitches, all my Roads, Railways, Highways and oddly trees have dissapeared. I am getting messages complaining no-one has roads. And if I try to zoom in more than twice. (by twice I mean two levels from the farthest out) the game crashes to the desktop. I dont think I can take having to do this city again, anything I can do. Restarting etc hasnt done anything.

Odd. Did you check your graphics setting? sometimes they get reset.

Also, my understanding is that the NAM doesn't tolerate other transit things. Are you sure you should have both of them?

The region you are using is a very big one, and there is a possibility it did not render correctly.  Also, if I remember right it takes a mod to render, if it did you should remove it.  Check the Macedon folder to make sure there is only one file for the city.  Check the file byte size, to see if there is something unusual about that.  Try importing that city into a smaller region to see if it works.  If none of that works, I have advice in my sig.31.gif

    Thanks for your replys.

N_O_Body - Checked the Graphics Settings, no problems there, messing around with them did not seem to do anything either.

I am not entirely sure whether they conflict, I havent had any problems so far though. For these attempts to fix my city I removed all the items from the Plugins folder anyways.

Patriot - As far as i can tell it rendered correctly, I followed the steps in the Sticky in the forum, it took about 10mins of creating it and it looks fine in the Region View. I don't know what you mean by

Also, if I remember right it takes a mod to render, if it did you should remove it. Can you explain please?

Doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the file size. Its about 2.6MB

I imported it into a new region, normal sized. Still the same problem, it looks like the roads are not there in the region view either. Although the buildings are visible there.

I thought maybe if I rezoned everything it may fix itself, limited success. (See Screen)

Relaying the Roads didnt help either, they rendered correctly, but the city did not fix itself. This is also a very slow process, since the game is chugging due to the Glitches. (the lights of every house keep flashing, in a wave like fashion starting from the top of the map)

Any other ideas. I really dont want to have to start again. As I said before, twice already I've had to do this city, due to crashes. Which took up about 5-6 hours in total.
