Turning Across onramps

I remember in one NAM they changed the avenue to highway parallel onramps.
For example if a car was coming up to this avenue under highway, and wanted to turn LEFT, normally it would have to continue past and chuck a u turn at the next intersection. With this mod there were turning roads so that the car could turn across the other lane of the avenue and proceed up the avenue.

They looked just like street crossings across avenues.
The problem I have is, I can no longer access them on my fresh installation of SC4. The NAM i have is the latest one, whereas the one I had before was somewhat older (though I can't remember the exact date).

I have installed all the relevant plugins to add turning lanes, roundabouts etc, but i'm still missing those onramp crossovers. Have they been removed or are they in a seperate file or what? I would like to see them back again.

Btw this problem occurs on newly constructed onramps as well (I already tried redoing the old ones).

If anyone could shed some light on this problem or perhaps point me in the direction to find them again i would be most grateful.

Hmm, perhaps I'm missing out on an official patch or two. I always thought they were a great idea from NAM but i'll try re-downloading the patches to see it that makes a difference.

    Thanks Anyway!

EDIT: Ah here we go, build 638... Among the changes:
Added left turn lanes to avenue/highway overpass onramps.

Glad that's sorted. Guess I need to watch out for the real updates too, not just the community ones!

Ha! No doubt... the folks here at ST do an incredible amount of great work on SC4 mods/addons, but Maxis has quite a staff themselves! It's easy to forget that they made all this possible in the first place 44.gif
