cant delete or query some custom lots

Hi!  I'm sorry if i missed the thread somewhere, but I did search for a similar thread in case this has been answered and could not find it.  I'm sort of new so every thread is new to me.

I can't bulldoze some of my new lots, like the downtown urban highschool for example, and the 1X1 Nexis medical center.  My game won't let me query them either, so I can't change the money allotted to these buildings, nor can i bulldoze.

 

Can anyone help me out with this please?  Thanks in advance for any info!  Again, sorry if i missed a previous thread but as a newbie here i'm drowning in information and can't seem to find it if it already exists (i did use the search function on the forum too and it retreived no threads).

Welcome to the site!

The best thing that I would suggest is that you take a tank and try to destroy the building.  Either that or use a disaster.  I personally have never had this happen to me, so I'm not entirely sure how to fix it.

 

Also, I want to point out that this thread is in the wrong forum.  It should be in the Bugs & Technical Issues forum instead.  The moderators will take care of this mistake for you, but I thought that I would let you know so that you don't make this mistake in the future.  Don't feel bad though - it happens to all of us.  I've done it too.

Hi you guys! Thanks for the welcome and the responses. 

 

The border thing makes sense because I tend to make my cities full enough to use every square I have (lol).  Makes sense!

 

Oooh!  Disaster is a great idea, I did try to disaster a landfill once and remembering that not working, so maybe I blocked it out as a possibility!  Doh.   Good idea, I will try that it has to work for buildings!

 

Nice meeting you both, and again thank you for the welcome and the responses!  I'm sorry this wasn't on the right forum.  Ooops, I did read some stuff in the technical/bug forum i just can't believe i didn't post this there!

I've had run-ins with the indestructable lot bug before, what sometimes works (more often than not, in my limited experience) is to plop a bunch of the same lot all around the trouble lot, then demolish them all together.
