Editing or making a Readme

OK so its been a while, a loong while in fact but what program is best used to make a readme... I had my machine wiped and I cant remember what I used before in the past to create Readme's... Any help is appreciated

Any HTML editor will usually do.  Generally, I use Bluefish.

If SC4Tool works on your PC, you can use it to create a template. AFAIR, the readmes for most SFBT uploads were done in this way.

Otherwise, as A Nonny Moose told you already, you can use any HTML editor. Nothing keeps you from creating a template this way, either.

Or you could type it up in MS Word and then save it as a PDF. That's probably what I'd do personally, but it's up to you.

The problem with PDFs is that the user might not be able to read them.  HTML is a lot safer, or even text from notepad.  Of course many people don't know enough about HTML to use it as a composition editor, but if you are making BATs, you probably do.  With bluefish you really only have to separate paragraphs with break commands.
