Trains wont stop at stations

Is it possible to make a mod to make a train stop for a few seconds at the station, say, with a small green cargo blocking in front of every train before entering the station? I think it would be more interesting when observing the city, if a train actually stops at the station instead of just going round and round.

Just wondering if there's any posibility.

I second this request. Also with planes, they only come and go instead of taxiing on the runway like SimCity3000, I miss those airports.
