This Is The City Of Grace in the county of Grace Hill.

I will be showing picture of the city that lies directly across the river from city center.
More pictures of city center will be coming soon, when I get around to it.  I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT ME GETTING RUSH HOUR!!!!!!  I will get it this Christmas!  Lay off about how I need RH.  Try, if you can to remember playing before RH came out.  I did use the Ind. x4, some SC4 ploppables, like schools, and some lots I made myself.  Thanks to whoever made the grass beaches-they work without Rush Hour.  Also thanks to whoever else I didn't mention.  I will be updating this CJ as my life passes. . .40.gif

Okay, I will NOT loose any word about the best expansion pack ever made for a simulation game by far ... 2.gif

What I see looks nice. Those lowrise suburbs, the sleeping town with the brown R$ - highrises, some diagnoality to break the grid... promising! 48.gif My first cities were less beautiful (sometimes I think it was kind of mercy that they were wiped out by a malworkimg RAM-module ... )

Keep the good work and after christmas, when you got the above not-mentioned expansion pack, go thru the STEX and download some nice custom stuff ...

Good start!

Nice start, there are alot of buildings there that I don't think I've seen with the expansion pack. Thats interesting.

Your city design is quite nice along the river side, and the posh area. Very nice, well done! 48.gif

I actually have a soft spot for SC4 Vanilla cities. Makes me nostalgic, plus I can remember how challenging it was. 2.gif And Choco is right - you don't see some of those buildings much anymore and they're very nice. 48.gif

    Thanks guys, for your comments

I agree.  And there still will be a nostalgic setting when I get Rush Hour, thanks for pointing that out mayormommy!

That's how it is in Baltimore-The projects in the hills with only one or two roads out!

Great start. I've never played Vanilla, so this will be educational for me. I also like the look of the waterfront. Keep it coming!!!

Here is another update.  I'm surprised how few replies i've gotten.   Oh well. . .

These are the neighborhoods just outside the CBD.  Inner City I guess you could call them.  Point State Park is also on here.  It lied just across the East River and has a few plazzos.  Is is just outside the airport.  Enjoy!19.gif align=baseline>

And if anyone is wondering why the highways just stop, its because I will add on ground highways there later

You've actually had a decent number of replies for a new CJ. 2.gif I like the dense neighborhoods but think you could use a few more trees or parks to green them up a bit. Otherwise it's pretty good so far. 31.gif One tip - if you are getting RH for Christmas, it is possible to import Vanilla cities but they are sometimes buggyand it's impossible to balance the budget. So you might want to think about how much effort you want to put into this city versus starting fresh with RH. 1.gif

Grace looks rather... graceful!!! 18.gif The water mod you are using makes your city look very beautiful. Great job. I'll be back for more...

not a lot of replies???  I hope to have as many replies when I start my CJ.  anyway...

I like the rich neighborhoods, they are secluded, peaceful and pretty, just like rich areas should be.  keep it going.

    Thanks guys.

I don't like many of the parks, and am having a tough time lot editing my own.
I liked the Car Factory too.  I think it was one of Joherg's first's.Any way, I don't think there will be too much financial trouble when I get rush Hour.  Wha tod you mean by that, mayormommy.

And caqn a moderator change that the Beach MOD doesn't need rush hour.  It doesn't.

    Thanks guys

I don't understand how getting rush hour will get you into finacial troublr, mayormommy.  Please elaborate.

CAn a moderator change the beach MOD so that is lists as working with non-rush hour systems.  THANX44.gif
