Hmmn, sounds interesting. By a walk-up, do you mean a block of flats where there is no lift? Such as the typical 1960s medium rise ( >6 floors) or this type of building?

Unite%20d'habitation%20-%20Marseille.jpg

If so, I have a few such buildings planned as such architecture is my speciality although I have a few other projects to finish first.

If that's not what you meant then what did you have in mind?

Nope not at all, maybe try downloading all updates from simcity.com it may be a lot editor problem.

I can't get them to work in my game either. I tried applying all the updates, nothing appears apart from one of the hangars and the turrets.

I have every update, all those buildings as props, etc. The only buildings that show up are one of the sheds, the crane lot and the turret lot. All the rest are grey lots with boxes and trucks. I look at the lots in the lot editor, only the blue rectangle where the sheds should be appears, the name of the rectangle is the name of your BAT, it won't appear. 42.gif

Heres a Full Update on Eastside Plaza which is almost complete 9the modeling stage) apart from the lower two floors and the lighting. also i will have to change the texture of the black roof, its too dark. Anyway this is a real building (under construction) in the Gunwharf Quays Complex in Portsmouth, it is one of (or the) first Habitable Skyscapers South of london and is second tallest to the Spinnaker Tower (Observation Tower, 170m) in the City. it is a residential building with the lower two floors let out to retail. As you can probably see the building is designed to resemble a ships funnel, it also contains 307 Flats (apartments), the top floors being Penthouses overlooking Portsmouth Harbour.

The Gunwhaf Quays Complex itself is one of the Top Developments in the UK, containing houses for thousends of residents, shops, restaraunts, nightclubs and a 21 Screen Cinema. All of this as well as a marina, Nearby Railway Station (portsmouth harbour) and ferry services to the Isle of Wight.

I think something went wrong with you last upload of the Naval Lots.  I had to use DatGen4 to preview the buildings you used and then go into the LotEditor and hand place those buildings myself onto your lots to be able to see the buildings.

With the Eastland Grand series you really mastered the building of everyday mid-rise buildings.  With this new one the addition of some funky styling has raised things to a new level.  Great work!

Hey Tonks I really like your stuff. Although I have an issue with one of your BATs and I'm not sure if it has been addressed yet; your bus stop for some reason, doesn't work in my cities. I plop them down and nobody ever uses them at all. It will say actual used:0 percent used:0...but then when I plop a different bus stop down, people use it. It really upsets me because I love that bus stop you made. Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated, and keep up the great work!

This is strange, i have never had any issues with any of my Bus Stops? Deleting the Plugin and redownloading, maybe this will solve the Problem.

    Ill Tonkso,

I've taken a look at your naval lots. The Plugin that is referenced for the building props is Plugin_RCI_Buildings_Prop_Modd.dat. I suggest you update them to use the prop files that are found on the Lot Editor page from the simcity.com site. I have no idea where you found that file either....

Why would that be illegal? All you have to do is to re-release your pack using the Maxis-released props instead of the ones you used, which happen to be props released by Simtropolis before Maxis released theirs. The Simtropolis pack was removed after the Maxis pack release, two years ago, so people who don't already have it can't have it. Here's a link to an older thread that explains what's the matter with those props. Scroll down for the most useful replies. Link
