It's good to hear they found a cure. But to be honest, I feel like a cure was already made long ago and it wasnt released to the people in Guinea.

The basic problem here is lack of communication.  This vaccine was shelved by some small pharmaceutical outfit in the states because there was no demand.  WHO needs to be able to catalogue all medical research and results with respect to pathogens.
