I was very exited to get C:S after the mess that was SC5, expecting to have a great time building a nice little city. However, when I launched the game, it was extremely laggy and even froze for 15 minutes 2 times! I have NO lag whatsoever with SC5 on medium graphics, but when I play C:S, I could not play at ALL. Here are the system specs if you need them:

Computer: MAC OS X Yosemite (Latest version) Desktop

Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB
Please help! I do not want $40 down the drain for a slow game with a shitload of lag!

Thanks!

Hi,

I think your config is not enough.

4gb of RAM is the ultra minimum. 6Gb recommanded, just for play game without mod or plugin.

If you use plugin, 8Gb is just, 16gb recommanded.

Memory card too, recommanded minimum 1gb. 2Gb for no lag is better.

I have the exact same specs, 2011 iMac? It works fine for me so try clearing out hard drive space or downloading memory cleaner to free up RAM.

ArchitechLB  you probably are running low on ram as your at the minimum.I am not fully familiar with
macs but you need to find out how much ram your programs & system are using & disable some stuff

before running the game,if you can you may need an upgrade of more ram.
