Any clue how to download actual regions??

hows it goin, just wanted to ask how to download regions that u can actually use in sim city 4 coz it dosent work trying to download the 1s on the stex, its just a right click to save thingy! im really stuck so if any 1 has ideas then please wright back

First of all, welcome to ST.

You should be able to click on the download link and have the file download.  Then again, I have heard that there have been some issues with the STEX in the recent past.

Dear fogeybear,

When you download a map you will need a greyscale (not always) and a config.bmp, the config.bmp should be downloaded like everything else on the stex simply clicking on it and choose a location for it to be downloaded to after downloading in that location it should be.

The grescale needs to be opened and opened again for full view by clicking on it then clicking the right mouse button on the image press the save as button then choose a location and there on the choosen location it should be after you have saved it.

 

That should do the trick.
