Is there a way to model and import new traffic lights that appear at intersections? and is it possible to change their orientation so that they sit on the opposite side of the intersection when they're facing you?

Alas, road modding like that is not supported yet. I asked the same question a week ago without a satisfactory result (for different reasons, by the way...)

 

There are a few road-based mods being developed, so dispite what they said road modding (at least in some forms) is possible.  A few that I'm keeping my eyes on are Lane Changer, Toggle Traffic Lights, Traffic++, and Traffic Manager (unreleased).  As expected, there's a lot of bugs and conflicts at this early stage.

Why does one drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Why is delivery by boat called a cargo and one by land called a shipment?
