Welcome to the shire a place where little people live. They are called hobbits. What are hobbits you might ask? Well they are or were a little people with little or no magic about them except the canny way of disappearing when a big person is around. They have curly brown hair and round little tummies and are fond of food. They live in holes in the ground not nasty dirty oozy holes but very neat holes. They have carpets and plumbing and many rooms devoted to clothes and food. They had many rooms devoted to pantries.

            This story is going to take place in hobbiton after Frodo leaves for lands unknown. The red book was handed to Samwise Gamgee and he was told to finish the book with his own accounts, which were later revised for accuracy.

 

 

            Samwise decided to keep the tradition of celebrating Frodo and Bilbos birthday every year. He knew in his heart that they still lived and therefore deserved to be remembered. A Pavilion was built around the New Party Tree where guests would sit and listen to a speech and then hobbits from all around would discuss the things they remembered about Frodo and Bilbo.

 

                        Sam and Rosie had many children: Elanor the Fair , Rose , Goldilocks , Daisy , Primrose , Ruby six girls and 7 boys Frodo Gardner , Merry , Pippin , Hamfast , Bilbo , Robin , Tolman .

I also used the snow caped terrain mod located in the mods menu here on Simtroplolis.

well sorry this update has taken so long RLI are keeping me busy these days.

 

The next few pics you will see is the map again. Still working on getting the mountins in... I have also compleated one part of the marshes as well.

here I have started the Mountians of the moon and you can see the marshes as well. As you can see I am using a rock mod by Peg and cycle dogs tree mod as well and the clipper water mod from Peg also.

The river that runs through the marshes is the Brandywine river I have raised the ground around the river so you can see that it is a river.

here you can see the beginning of the mountians of the moon spilling into the marshes.

As the forces of nature formed the mountains they also eroded them. Peeks rose and fell forming the mountains of the moon. Water rises and rain falls. Snow melts and forms rivers and lakes and marshes. So the marshes were formed. The Brandywine river breaks off to many channels and runs into the marshes overflowing it in the summer months causing the water to rise and as the summer wanes and the water evaporates so the water level lowers showing more of the land under. Birds and rushes make their homes here trees grow and die with the rise and fall of the water. A beautiful thing indeed

The ones who came before man or elf or even before the Ents came looked upon Arda and saw the mists settling on the marshes what a beautiful site they thought. The image was not quite the same as they had built up Arda, Melkor twisted into his liking. This was how Arda now known as Hobbiton was formed. They still work to rebuilt what Melkor laid waste for the work is never done. The Mountains of the moon are completed they thought and horses and other wild animals dwell in the foothills of the great mountains. Animals and birds live in the Marshes their work is finished there. Hills and Dells are next trees to be grown and animals to be spawned many years of work yet to be done Melkor is now in his own land and has left this place to them to finish.

The only thing I have is, your pictures have a large file size, the one of 640 X 480 is 360kb. That seems like alot to me, especially for JPEGs. They load quite slowly too.

Hmmm, just thought I'd let you know. Great job with the LOTR style CJ. Brilliant idea!

As time passed more brush grew in the marshes and the ground textures became richer in color. Groundfog has also set in and now you can see thicker richer could and whisp formations in the marshes.

this is most of the mods currently being used in this reagion. I have chosen them very carefully as to have a good looking reagion. I know some of you wanted this region when I am done with it so to have it work right when I can get it to you you will needs those mods. I will have to ask DIRK for permission to upload the region to the stex as right now that is not allowed. So give me some time to get this region done as it seems to be taking longer than I intended but real life sucks sometimes when it keeps me from compleating something I want to get done for the community..

 

I want to say thanks to those who mentioned my LOTR stuff and thanks to the staff for adding it as a honerable mention. Thanks for the reconition for all my hard work.

 

next I would like to thank Cycledog for his wonderfull tree mods and updated snow mod it works just like I want it to.

I would also like to thank peg for his mods as well they really make the region look good.

Next I would like to thank Gizmo for his Fog mod it really makes the marshes look much better.

and teirusu for his mods as well..  It really helps compleate the look of the region.

Hello I am happy you stoped by. Thank you for your comment and thanks to who ever changed the name of my thread. I felt this was more appropriate than what I had.

A lone horse was seen in the forest near what is to be the new mayors house. Lush forest grounds and tall trees were scattered about.

 

 

Deer and moose were also seen in the forests around the shire. 

 

Ash trees grew abundantly as well in the forests surrounding the shire.  A small pond for fishing was also constructed.

 

 

The new mayors house was built larger and a large flowering tree was planted on top of the hill.

The terraforming is amazing. The water texture looks excellent with the custom trees and such. I'm amazed at the region shot, those mountains are sweet!

A small settlement of hobbits have settled in and temporary housing has been built by the king untill the hobbits get thier own homes built..

 

 

A seaport has been placed in by the king to help get supplies to the hobbits new home.

 

 

 

a large farmers market has been set up near the seaport so trade can begin.

while the hobbits settle into their new land the 1st settlement has grown trees and a couple of farms have developed as well. pipeweed a big part in later years to come and wheat much needed for food.
