Impressive disaster. Poor residents though.

Deux mois plus tard, la nappe de pollution n’a toujours pas été évacuée, la ville est déserte.
Beaucoup d’immeubles ont été pillés malgré les forces militaires présente. 
Two months later, the layer of pollution has not been evacuated always, the city is desolate.
A lot of buildings have been pillaged in spite of the military strengths presents.

La la ville est complètement ruinée. 
The city is completely ruined.

Les spécialistes estiment que les grandes marrées de  Janvier et Février, auraient des conséquences catastrophique sur Lavaca. La pollution s’infiltrant dans les zones basse de la ville, il faudrait des années pour nettoyer.

Mais c’est tout Avalon qui subit les dommages de cette extraordinaire pollution, même si la nappe, c’est maintenu dans une zone, l’odeur c’est répandu dans toute la région.
Les touristes ont déserté Avalon, une catastrophe environnemental mais aussi économique.
Les chercheurs du monde entier essaient de trouver un moyen d’éliminer cette nappe.

Trois mois plus tard, enfin une solution a été trouvée.
L’odeur a disparu d’elle-même grâce aux grandes tempêtes de Décembre.
Une bactérie c’est développé dans la zone contaminée, celle-ci dévore le produit dans l’eau. La nappe disparaît peut à peu.
Three months later, a solution has finally been found.
The odor disappeared herself thanks to the big storms of December.
A bacterium is developed in the contaminated zone, this one devours the product in water. The layer disappears can to little.

Les chercheurs du CNRS pense avoir découvert une formidable mutation biologique d’une bactérie présente naturellement dans ces eux et espèrent pouvoir reproduire le phénomène en laboratoire.
The researchers of the CNRS think to have discovered a great biologic mutation of a  bacterium naturally  in this water and hope to be able to reproduce the phenomenon in laboratory. 

Lavaca peu enfin respirer et commencer le nettoyage de la côte. Cela prendra plusieurs mois.
Lavaca little finally to breathe and to begin the cleaning of the coast. It will take several months.

It looks like a fabulous region you've got coming along here.

Parts of it remind me of Hong Kong, what with all the highrise buildings around the waterways.

Un an apres la catastrophe, les gros cargos ne peuvent plus naviguer sur le fleuve.
La ville c'est reconstruite. Deux nouveaux districts sont en construction à Port Lavaca : le district de Verdon et le district de Locarno situé de l’autre coté du fleuve.
Cette catastrophe aura servi de leçon au gouvernement d'Avalon.
Un nouveau port pétrochimique sera construit loin de la ville, dans les nouveaux territoires au sud de la péninsule d'Avalon... Projet à suivre...

One year after the catastrophe, the large cargo cannot sail on the river. 
The city it is rebuilt. Two new district are in construction in Port Lavaca : the district of Verdon and the district of Locarno situated of the other bank of the river. 
This catastrophe will have been used as lesson with the government of Avalon. 
A new petrochemical port will be built far from the city, in the new territories in the south of the peninsula of Avalon... Project to be followed...

Yes, Hong-Kong is a fabulous city, I went to Hong-Kong the last summer on holidays. It’s a really imposing city, and she inspired me a lot for the future development of Avalon
Do you know Hong-Kong ?
In August, I go to Australia, then I think that the continuation of Avalon will be very Australian city

Welcome in Verdon, a small very calm community.
Verdon had to become a district of Port-Lavaca, but finally with the disaster of Port-Lavaca, the small city remained independent, and very numerous inhabitants of Port-Lavaca came to install in Verdon.

Me voilà de retour à Lahore après une longue absence, la ville c'est méthamorphosée, de nouveaux quartier se sont construits.

Aujourd'hui c'est la fête, la ville a dépassé le 1.000.000 d'habitant. Les festivités vont durés une semaine. 

Après un bon bout de temps passé à Port-Lavaca, j'en avais oublié cette ville magnifique, mais maintenant me voici de retour... et bientôt je retourne à Avalon Centre...
