Actually, it's a river....

Not really many canals until you get south of the city, and then we have both the I&M canal and the Sanitary/Ship canal...

Good job, i really thing you have done an excellant job.  I have recently had a major intrest in Chicago.  I have watched some sshows on the discovery channel buildings and destruction marathon last week, and read about it on the net watched movies ect.  I neva have been there, for one i live in australia, and yeah but from pictures ive seen you have done an amazing job, well done

FineMusic i see is your first post congrats jeje, your right by the way. Even dough the buildings arent the ones that are there in real life I kind of like how it looks similar to the area with the Maxis buildings, there is a lot of height around there and better yet there is more to come

I noticed that you have One Prudential Plaza & a working version of ardecila's Smurfit-Stone Building. Where'd you get those from? Did you create 1 Pr. Pl. by yourself? Do you know where i can get these buildings, or can you send them to me?

Yeah I have a working version of the Smurfit stone building what I did was, I downloaded the file and since it was bugged, replaced a landmark in the game and placed the building as a replecement lala! I have a lot with the building on it, and One Pru was my creation altough not very accurate I managed to make it some-what similar and many of the forumers dont even notice. Dragon Dude has been asking me for the building file forever and I tend to forget sorry guys I think if people didnt complain about having just buildinds as landmarks at the Bat eXCHAGE I would put it up there or unless somebody want to mod it ???

You've done a subperb job.

To make your city even more realistic you might want to try submerging the freeway.

 

I90-94 (Kennedy Expressway) through downtown  is submerged (athough I'm sure it would be nearly impossible to duplicate the exit ramps as they are in real life).
