Bike Paths - Crash to desktop

I have the SA cycleways Basic Pack and they require no dependencies, they should just work.

 

However, every time I plop one I have a crash to desktop. This can happen with other (random) lots that have a "road-type" aspect to them, but this is a specific example.

 

I am on a Mac with steam version of SC4, but I don't think this is a Mac problem. What could be causing this immediate crash to desktop?

 

Any help or advice is welcome

It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning to long to believe that the tides going to turn.

Did you try this 'neat'?  That is, on a new region (scratch pad) with no other plugins.  If it works this way, you have a plugin conflict.
