Planes & Vehicles vs The Partridge Family

I am getting a little annoyed that some of the planes flying into the airport are bright red, blue ,green and black as well as some vehicles, i did not notice any dependencies with any of these that show up looking like that when i downloaded them so can anyone tell me what i did wrong cause i didn't invite the singing family to my city yet until i put in casino's and night clubs.

Do you, by chance run the game in Software mode? You may be trying to use items that were made 'HD' and require the game to be run in Hardware mode. You might check the downloads you're using. Sometimes the creators provide files for both modes.
