I have every edition of the UBD from 2000 to 2006 and the 2003 edition is unreadable, because of all the drawings in there and all that.

It will be upsetting to see Lane Cove on hold although it will be good to see Mornington Peninsula (although I personally have never been there). I also appologise to you about the size and upload time of my CJ, I have 6 updates on one page (4). Anyway, you do a very good job at City Journals and at game modding (I use the Melway/Brisway Transit Map for region view and your other lots). Looking forward to more by Lakeyboy, a great Aussie Simtropoliser.

Lakey,

Sorry to see Lane Cove on hold...  8.gif'); height=15 alt=Insert smilie 8.gif src=https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/8.gif width=15 border=0>    (was looking forward to Lilydale!)

But I am keen to see your work on the peninsula...

Have you seen the Aussie style homes that Thesdale has designed? Should fit in your CJs...

Thank you for your replies and thanks for the encouragement for the peninsula. Chocolate Max, I remember you replying in my peninsula thread months ago and were intersted. It just seemed the rest of SimTrop wasn't so I was discouraged and discontinued it.

As an update for the peninsula, I am likely redoing rosebud. I am recreating some of the roads and after converting melway distances to real world distanced and then to SC4 distances, I realised that I had built off - scale so I'm fixing that and I am currently constructing the main roads in the region (such as frankston - flinders road / boneo road, mornington peninsula fwy, nepean highway and other local C class routes in the area. This is so I can keep the scaling for the peninsula in check. I will post a pic in the mornington peninsula thread of the transport system in a few days.

No probs, Lakey....  will keep an eye out for the updates.... BTW whats the link to the CJ?

I've often thought about doing either a Melbourne CJ or a bit closer to home (the eastern suburbs or even just my drive to work from Lilydale to Hawthorn as I know it so well...) but I have a shortage of time to do them justice..    besides, your Melbourne one was pretty good and I don't think I could better it.

Also, GoogleEarth hasn't got a very good scan of my area - very low res still...

At the moment I'm just having fun playing the game when I can and trying out all the bats etc that come out on the Stex.
