Trees in Desert Maps

hellow,

 

I have already modded, but this is new territory and too much for me.

The question is, does it work?

 

My dream would be a mod that changes the textures of the desert Maps.

 

The Cactus and bushes are gone, and the normal Trees are come.

 

Has anyone experience is that possible?

 

Simply replace the image files and ready?

 

Can someone make it ?

Unfortunately we can't change what cubemaps the regions read. however there is possibility we maybe able to edit the cubemaps the regions work with, but they still need to be decoded and made exportable, 

however you are asking if you can change the trees to what i know, no most of that is backed and thats why i spoke about the above because as far as i know the trees are linked to the cubemap types
