Which Mods are exactly needed for boundary expansion?

Hello SimCity community,

please help me out. I tried for several hours now to get to run a bigger offline map by using this mod:

OFFLINE-ONLY_Project_Orion_3k_Extended_Boundary.package.

Don't get me wrong. I am really impressed about your programming stuff and all that (maybe you should do the job at EA!). But can someone just list the mods needed besides. I read so much now about this mod and that one. Don't use this with them... but you also need those... BOOOM!

The next problem is, that some download links do not work... after the annoying adfly there is no response and I am linked back to the forum!?!?!

Is there a kind person who is willing to list up all needed mods? Maybe even with the running download linkage...

That would be so awesome.

Respectful

I should tell Xoxide to make a mini-modpack of the "Orion mods," or as I would call the pack, Orion's Belt.

Holy gosh... That was an amazing thought. DIBS ON THE NAME.

As for the mods you need for essential functionality:

  1. SUGC's (For basic functionality)
  2. HintaaHyuga's (For bridges outside the 2K boundary)
  3. HintaaHyuga's (For tunnels outside the 2K boundary)
  4. Yayie's Akar (For the regional streets, you only need #1 and #2 on the downloads)
  5. Danny's (For additional camera function)
  6. Xoxide's (To bulldoze)

I highly suggest that you read the description to Project Orion to understand how it works. Lots of people have discredited the mod because they don't know how the author made it.

I hope the information helps!

    Hello CraftKit,

many thanks for your list! That's what I was aiming.

The remaining problem I still have is to start a city. I did all along the instruction (saving game - leaving game - relaunch, etc.) but if I build roads I cannot "activate" the building of the rest (plants, zoning, pumpstations, etc.). I still get the red exlamation mark of my consultat which says "you have to connect your city with the interstate". And I tried several roads. The default ones, the regional ones, ...

    Whats wrong there?

    Regards

Hmm. Maybe a screenshot would help this situation. Show me, with the UI, the freeway connectors and rest of the city, how you have it laid out.

Okay. After testing around a bit I found out following points:

    - It is possible to build a road that "starts" the city BEFORE I save the game and relaunching (to activate the mods)

    - It is also possible to build plants, zoning, etc.

    - But after I restart the saved game the mods are working (the map is indeed enlarged), but I cannot build any stuff like plants, zoning, etc. (see screenshot below)

    - it is the saving and relaunching (the Mods), that hinds in the background the functioning of the game. therefore I also attached my mod folder (see screenshot 2 below)

i just noticed, that in your list under point 4. you put in 2 linkages.

    1. Yayie's Akar (For the regional streets, you only need #1 and #2 on the downloads)

"Project" and "Akar" are two different hyperlinks! Maybe this is an explanaiton. So which mods do I need from those both?

Sorry. Use the link for "Akar." There should be install instructions and info there. :)

One of the links I also gave you was the one for "Project."
