Nuclear meltdown and radiation

I was in the middle of plopping down my university when my nuclear plant blew up. attached is a screenshot. any suggestions on how to fix this mess?

Pretty much unless you want to wait like 50-100 years(In game time) or more, the Cities of Tomorrow expansion pack has the ground scrubber that can get rid of the radiation, but you need to unlock it via The Academy
