Monstrous screw up

I am new here. I came here to look for some fun mods to use on my city. I spent the better part of yesterday afternoon adding about 20 something mods and now my game won't start. So now what I want to do I remove all those files, except I don't know which ones I need to keep (yea silly me I should made a copy of each file... but I didn't - my bad). Does anyone know which files need to be in SImCityData, SImCityUserData, and SImCityUserData/packages folders? I have all the DLC available except the 3 euro city DLC (london, paris, berlin). Thanks.

You only should've put the packages in your simcity data folder. As far as I know, the only files that are supposed to be in there are the ones that start with Simcity_

I get that...ok... but what about the ones that say:

    " How to install:

    1. Unzip the files after downloading.

    2. Copy and paste the .package files into C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games/SimCity/SimCityUserData/Packages."

(there are just as many of those as the one that want you to put the files in SimCityData folder. And, of course, there are an equal amount that don't specficy either - which I found annoying).

I'm sorry... I just want to get my game back to normal without having to uninstall and re-download the game from Origin and spend 20+ hours waiting for it to finally finish downloading (my provider in Canada sucks total donkey ****). I was hoping I could just erase the  files, but I need to be able to keep the file that are supposed to be there.

I've never put any mods into any folder other than simcity data. One way to undo what you did is sort your folder files by last modified date, that should help you find the files that you added in after installing the game, then you can take those out. Good luck.

I think that custom buildings goes there, and everything else go to simcitydata, but if you use simcitydata only, it's easier to add/remove mods.
