RHW Euro Textures

Hello,

Today I've installed NAM again with the euro texture options. I renamed the folder so the textures load after the NAM itself, but still all the starters except RHW2 and some elevated are american textures. I selected everything while installing NAM.

Does anybody know what could be the problem?

To make sure it loads last, put it in the z___NAM folder.  The underscores ( _ ) will load after Z's.  What I do when I want to make sure something loads absolutely last is put it inside a zzz folder within the z___NAM folder.

One thing I would not do is rename a NAM folder.  This is subject to reinstall and I think the installer depends on the original layout.

It is in the Z_NAM folder. In the map is the Euro cosmetic Re-Texture mod folder. Which I dont know if I could rename that folder Because of A Nonny Moose his reaction.

So can I rename the Euro texture folder? Because when it has the normal name it still doesnt have good textures.

Sounds like an override conflict.  Try just dragging it inside the z___NAM folder.

I have a very fast broadband connection.  Which post of Z's did you reference?  The message number would be helpful.

I can't for the life of me see the post number for some reason :/

But from the top of the page going down, it's his second post.

Also, not sure if it works the same for everyone, but when I click the link I provided, Z's post has a blue border around it whilst every other post has a black border. But just to be sure it's the when where he says...

This turned out to be an installer bug that was created by a change in another part of the installer.  The fixed files are too big to attach here, but here's what you can do to get around the bug:

    • Run the installer in the Custom Installation mode.  For the Main Road Texture Style, choose one of the top two American-style textures.
    • Under "Options for American-Style Road Textures", open up the RHW Options and select either of the two options.
    • Run the installer to completion.
    • In the folder "z___NAM\Road Textures\Euro Cosmetic Re-Texture Mod\RHW", you will find a folder called "0_Standard".  Move this folder and its contents to someplace outside your Plugins folder.
    • Run the installer again, choosing the options you want.
    • Move the "0_Standard" folder and its contents back to where you originally got them.

The American textures should be gone now.
