Started this city back in January prior to picking up the Cities of Tomorrow (COT). I've been back to it from time to time and eventually added COT. I prefer a slow progression game growing out then up.

I love the terrain textures.

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

I've always enjoyed the way you build and display your cities.

Thanks for the compliment Benedict.  For me the enjoyment comes from the slow evolution of the city; you could refer to it as the "stop and smell the roses" approach.  I've also found it easier to manage traffic when I develop the city in this way despite a strong desire to build out and up as fast as possible.  The problem I encounter with the later approach is it's hard to determine where the traffic planning went wrong or how to fix it.

    I love the terrain textures.

Those are stock features for this map but I'm in agreement; the tropical hills, palms, and beach make a nice context for the city (even after I mine it to death).

The economy of this one quaint coastal town has become highly formidable.  So much so I had to demo the coal plant and upgrade to oil.  I've had to rework the roads heading up to the industrial sector for release of the traffic congestion slowing trade vehicles.

    Looks good.

I always have a bad time with such winding roads. Hard to get adequate density. I like the rustic look though.
