Euro tileset bugs?

When I play the game with only the Euro Contemporary tileset checked, medium wealth buildings do not appear at all. My city starts with low wealth only, and once I provide water, several mansions are built. I have tried this with all my plugins removed with the same result. Also, when I play with both Chicago and Euro checked, only Euro buildings grow, and Chicago buildings show up only when Euro is unchecked.

I am concerned about this because I recently organized all my custom content by the four tilesets so I can build different city styles without uninstalling any plugins, and many of the buildings are in the Euro tileset.

Is there a fix for this bug? Are there any other problems with the Euro tileset?

I am not sure it is a bug.  Some buildings belong to more than one tile set. Have you looked at the lots with something like Softool to see if there are any mid-wealth buildings in that set?

I know the tilesets of all the buildings I am expecting to grow on iLives Reader, as I have edited them myself. To specify, there are slums I restricted to the Euro tileset which grow fine. I also have a set of medium and high wealth Euro only houses. The high wealth houses appear after I provide water, but the medium wealth houses are never built.

I also have medium wealth small shops in both New York and Euro tilesets that only grow with New York tileset selected.

Beats me.  Are you sure you got everything right in the reader?  One little slip ...

    Anyone else?

The growth stage of the houses is 0x01, and remember I said I tested this with only Maxis buildings with no plugins installed and I had the same problem.

I just tested this, and it seems to work for me. I destroyed all the buildings in a city, then unchecked all styles except Euro Contemporary. When stuff started growing, I had a mix of all wealth types. The medium wealth residences were things like Devenshire Cottage and Handy House, etc. This is using only the default Maxis lots.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, fully patched it, then tested it again with Maxis and then custom lots. It works now. Huh...
